Day-to-day benefits
Comprehensive day-to-day benefits via our contracted network providers. Day-to-day benefits refer to medical treatment received out of hospital (or in the casualty ward of a hospital). These benefits generally include services from doctors, specialists, dentists, optometrists, radiologists and pathologists, as well as prescribed medicine.
Casualty/emergency benefits
If you need to visit an emergency room / casualty over a weekend or after hours, you have 1 visit per person or 2 visits per family per year for emergency / casualty and out-of-network doctor visits. You pay the first R110 of the visit and then need to contact us for authorisation within 72 hours after the visit.
