You get extra cover for shortfalls in the event of hospitalisation involving surgery or medical treatment, as well as for certain procedures performed out of hospital.
Waiting periods: 3-month waiting period for all claims, 9-month waiting period on pre-existing conditions and 12-month waiting period for claims relating to pregnancy, birth and cancer. Momentum GapCover is not a medical scheme and cover is not the same as that of a medical scheme. This product is not a substitute for medical scheme cover.
What is Student GapCover+?
GapCover bridges the gap between your medical bills and your medical aid cover. You can use your cover to help pay in- and out-of-hospital fees when your medical aid doesn't cover all the costs.
