These benefits generally include services from doctors, specialists, dentists, optometrists, radiologists and pathologists, as well as prescribed medicine.

The Ingwe Option offers unlimited private hospital cover at 100% of the Momentum Medical Scheme Rate to provide you with peace of mind. The hospital benefit provides cover for hospitalisation, if treatment is clinically appropriate and has been pre-authorised by the Scheme.

The Ingwe Option offers 3 virtual doctor consultations per beneficiary per year from the GP Virtual Consultation Network, which includes Hello Doctor. Consultations include scripting of medication where required.

If you need to visit an emergency room / casualty over a weekend or after hours, you have 1 visit per person or 2 visits per family per year for emergency / casualty and out-of-network doctor visits. You pay the first R105 of the visit and then need to contact us for authorisation within 72 hours after the visit.
