You have 1 visit per beneficiary, with a maximum of 2 visits per family per year. You will need to pay the first R105 of the account from your own pocket. WhatsApp or call us on 0860 102 493 within 72 hours of the consultation to get authorisation, otherwise you will need to pay 30% of the account from your own pocket.

The emergency / casualty units at the hospitals are private facilities (not part of the hospital) and may ask you to pay for the service and then claim back from Momentum Medical Scheme.

For out-of-network doctors and emergency consultations, you need to request authorisation within 3 days (72 hours) of treatment.

You are also covered for three virtual GP consultations per year from the GP Virtual Consultation Network, which includes Hello Doctor. This means that you can have a virtual consultation with a qualified doctor, from the comfort of your home, or wherever you may find yourself at the time.
